...yeah, but i think what he' s saying is:

.....although when he says things like the 3 year old Half life 2 looking better than GOW i' m VERY sceptical......

Epic did hit 60fps, but then added more eye candy. It' s not a case of it not being possible, it' s due to developers wanting their games to look better. Take Lost Planet for example, it looks much much nicer than Devil May Cry 4 or Dead Rising and yet it uses the same engine. DMC4 and Dead Rising run at 60fps and Lost Planet at 30. Why? So it can look better.

As for Half Life 2, ...the proper game deosn' t look as nice as Gears but Lost Coast and Ep1 do, though only if you' re running them at really high resolutions...

I think Xbox360 can hold it' s own against a PC. I mean cmon, i think COD3 comes moderately close to looking as good as a PC game right?

....so when/if Gears comes to PC, it' ll urinate all over the current x360 version, because people like f3 will be able to run it at 60fps?...
