So I' m playing Crackdown, attempting to get the body-juggler achievement, and just as I' m hunting around for the proper rocket-launcher to do the job... I stumble across this... Now, in-game ads usually don' t bug me, especially if they' re in sport or driving games. Anything that would normally have adverts in it anyway, but this got me irritated. If I wanted to see Superbad, I' d go see it. There' s already an enormous amount of trailers for it on TV and I belive there' s an advertising campaign going on on the Marketplace itself. Come on!

I also stopped using it. But well, if you don' t like the concept of showering regularly, Axe can be a life saver.

These ads have been coming and going for some time now. Multiplayer in R6 does it a lot. There was an ad for Oceans 13 one month then the next an ad for 300. I' m not sure what it is right now.

At least they' re ads for movies that could be considered to have some overlapping appeal... imagine if we began seeing ads for Luden' s cough drops and Tampax in the middle of some heated battle.

I was playing GRAW2 yesterday and I noticed an add for the 2008 Dodge Avenger on the side of a shaded building so that it showed up in its huge white banner of slogans. I wouldn' t mind so much if it fit in an urban scenario, but this was in the slums of mexico, a flipping housing district. Somehow, I don' t think dirt poor mexicans would be getting big car marketing campaigns on the side of their shanty' s.

Does anyone use Axe anymore? i havent used it since i was 12! Nope. I' ve got a can of RGX body spray in the car, as it doesn' t have that nostril-burningly strong scent to it. It' s better than Febreeze though, I suppose.

I doubt they can tell the difference actually. I was in a club the weekend before i went to Canada, wearing a £240 shirt i bought from a little boutique in Palermo and my girlfriends friend told me her boyfriend has a shirt just like it. Apparently they sell them at NEXT for £45...
