Just wondering if anyone knew about Monkey Island 5?
Such a great, GREAT series that I really want the 5th to be made!
IF anyone knows anything that would be great thanks!

I dont see this happening any time soon .. I hate lucas arts for canning almost all their adventure games .. Give me grim fandango 2 already ....

LucasArts needs to be changed to
" Crappy Star-Wars Games INT"
They can every single decent game, and for what? More half-arsed Star-Wars titles.

Well, since the Sam and Max games were pushed from Lucasarts to Telltale, and Fallout was dropped from Interplay to Bethesda, then Monkey Island 5 will have to be made by Valve.

How involved with the last Monkey Island was Tim Schafer?
I heard that Vivendi and DoubleFine were working on a new game, not sure if it' s a new IP or not (I can check the site; Schafer treats the update page like his own blog).
For all you know, in order to make a more guranteed commercial success (after Psychonauts), he could be heading the new Monkey Island project...
...Personall, I thought the last Monkey Island was one of the weakest of the series...maybe it was the new 3D, but it felt...easier?

BTW Are any of you guys game makers by any chance? Me and my friend are writing our version of MI 5 and would like to see it turned into a game lol
