Cool, i didnt know Sandman would be in it, is there other villains than him?

Venom is supposed to be in it but he' s being played by Topher Grace (little skinny kid that stars in " That 70' s Show" ). Probably the worst person they could have foundto play that role.

What sense does it make to have a skinny guy play venom. Venom is a big bloke even when not covered by the suit.

Maybe they were thinking for Carnage instead?

I' ll wait after everyone has seen this movie and reviewed it. They' ve already messed up on Venom so, that' s the real reason I' m not going to go see it on opening week.

It depends on which version of Venom. In the " ultimate" universe isnt he, like Parker, some high school kid or soming. Maybe they are takign some liberties and combining the stories from different series in order to fit it much more smoothly in the movie time frame.

Ugh, no matter what they try to do with combining stories. They still didn' t get Venom right. I wanted to see the " huge pumped up" Eddie Brock like from the original comic books. It doesn' t look intimidating enough for Eddie to be the same size as Peter. Eddie played mind games against Peter before he appeared as Venom because he knew he was Spidey and is the only person who can sneak up on him without the Spidey sense going off. I think in the newer comic books and game, they have Eddie as being crazy. Eddie wasn' t really crazy, he just had another sick way of justice like the Ghost Rider. The only thing that made him a bad guy or crazy for a while was the fact that he wanted to kill Spidey. After being convinced by his ex-wife that Spidey saves lives like he does. Venom made a truce with him and went off to be a good guy. I know this cause I have the last issue that they come to a truce. It' s in Amazing Spider-man #300 I believe.

I don' t care if Micheal Jackson plays Venom as long as they make him as strong as he' s supposed to be, ie he better beat the crap out of Spider-man.

I' ve faith they' ll do Venom justice. To be fair they made Goblin and Octopus awesome. If they build it up the right way Venom could be immense in the movies.

.... i thought William Dafoe was awesome as the green goblin..... l loved the psycho split-personality scenes were he' s arguing with him self....

He was good but the Goblin character itself and the crap ass costume kinda ruined it.

...yeah, i never understood the big deal over that character......
