No Handheld Halo

Recent internet reporting has suggested that a Game Boy version of Halo is in the works. We can officially lay that rumor to rest.

There is no Game Boy version of Halo planned, and none in production. It' s very unlikely that such a version would ever happen for all the obvious reasons, and the less obvious reasons, that the ColecoVision talks fell apart and The Bandai Pippin version is taking up all our development bandwidth…

I wish people would get their *** confirmed first, before people like me go postin stuff lol.

HA Ha! I love the sense of humor in that reply. Bandai Pippin version would have kicked ass! I wonder if the Game Gear version is still a GO?

No offense (okay, maybe a lot), but even a retard could tell that Halo is not going to a handheld unless MS makes one.

yeah, no doubt. I can' t see how this rumor even started b/c I never would have believed it. Even if for some odd reason it were to happen, it would be pointless....

it would end up being a piece of crap with the name halo on the box...and I' m not talking about the xbox version

don' t insult halo? you mean i can' t say it has horribly repetetive level design, little or no character animation, and small enemy variety? aww, man...

on a serious note, i' m not at all saying it' s a bad game.

hahaha, zing!

really tho, I loved halo when I played thru it a couple years ago. I just love how as soon as you insult it, xbox owners go crazy.

Actually HALO on a nintendo handheld is possible.

Since Nintendo might actually support XBOX 2.

+Halo does not have repetitive levels.

To this day HALO for XBOX is still one of the best looking FPS' s.

umm, the library is a fine example of repetetive level design. and that' s not the only level.

and since i' d rather not get in an argument, i probably won' t speak anymore on the topic.

Actually......
the level design is a bit repetitive. As for the enemies, it has more variety than most FPS, which cycle the same 4-5 modles over and over only with different costumes.

Halo...one of the most graphically advanced FPS' s of this generation? On a hand-held?

At one point in time I might have thought it would be a neat idea, but that was a while back and before I played Tony Hawk on GBA. If Halo was even attempted on a handheld, it would probably break in half.

All Games are repetitive.Aspecially FPS' s and racing, all u do is load and shoot load and shoot or race on tracks over and over.

But i still put around 4000 hours(if not more) into HALO(XBOX) and around 600 hours into Project Gotham Racing 2.

Try GT: 3 A-Spec, there is...... Gasp, something else, it goes buy, tune, race, repeat. Seriously though, its like they said in the inside H2 interview, all you need is 30 seconds of fun, and then find a way to stretch it out to a whole game.

Also, Halo is not the most graphically advanced FPS this gen., that would be The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Now, if you want to talk most fun.....
