Perfect Dark Zero

Picked this up today (limited edition, it was the same price as regular) and wow. First off, ifyou come across a same priced LE, buy it, The case is so damn cool. No text on it at all, just two beautiful pictures on a metal case. I' ll go into more depth on the game if people ask questions, but I' ll just say a few quick things now. I' ve only played multiplayer so far, but from there, I' d say the graphics are good, not great. Some slight tearing issues, but only on one of the levels. Some things will look amazing, while others just ok. 4 player split screen though, you can only expect so much. Gameplay wise, it is a blast. If you don' t like FPS you aren' t buying this game anyways, but if you do, have fun. Not horribly fast paced, but it' s all about the level design. only 6 multiplayer maps available, and I' ve played 5 out of six, and really enjoyed 4 of those. Definetly glad I bought it.

I thought people start with the single player mode...

I prefer the no-player mode. It' s definitely the most fun. It consists of not buying the game and instead purchasing something like Trauma Center for the DS!

I would' ve started with the single player, but my brother was over, so I didn' t just want to sit and play in front of him. The no player modes not so fun. The graphics are really lacking, and the gameplay is pretty much non-exsistent.

Pretty much the only time I will play a FPS is as a multiplayer game. I enjoyed this one. Perfect Dark gets thumbs up from me as well (and the case is amazing).

Being that it only has 6 multi-player maps sounds a lot like future maps will be available through download - whether for some $$ or for free.

they' ll cost, but those 6 are gold. And so huge it' s rediculous, the way they let you play small, 1+3 or 2+4 versions of the map is really a good idea. It makes them feel very different'

I would not say it' s standard. The cover functions are very neat if you get used to using them. In a real busy fight say 16 players it wouldn' t be taht useful maybe because people could be all around you, but it' s designed very well, and easy to pull off.
