I just got the OXM demo disc today and it has a playable demo of the game.

This is the best looking game i ever played.It looks alot like DOOM3.

The controls are perfect.The fun factor is there.I played the demo about 10X now and i still am amazed at how good the game is.

A Must have FPS.

That' s what everyone is saying... I need this demo!!! What else is on the disc?

Tha graphics are pretty good but I have a serious beef with them. The shadow effects are just a tad over done and when your flashlight hits something in the dark it gives a really wierd jaggie effect around the characters or objects it shines on. The lighting just needs to be fixed a little bit.

I' m just not sure about the graphis. They come off as pretty damn good but when compared to Halo 2, Doom 2, far Cry, and Half Life 2, I still think it' s a bit behind.

I felt the controls were a tad jerky too. I hate to be the complainer, especially since I often divce right into crappy games as well, but for some reason I' m just not all that impressed with the game yet.

Btw, how do you beat that gay ass mech?

The graphics are amazing.The character models are awesome.

And that PPL actually take damage when u hit them is sweet,it feels like playing a boxing game.

But its jaggy at times.

IF u want to beat that mech just hide behind walls and and crates and use your shotgun at every chance u get.when u run out of ammo on your shotgun just use your other guns.

I beat the mech by hiding behind those crates to the left when u walk in the room past the like wall of them and in front of the pillar while crouched so it cant see you and when it walks into the middle circle around behind it and rapid fire shoot it in the back with your machine gun and then in falls over.
although it took me like 20 tries to figure it out.

I agree. This could have been one of the top shooters this year if the framerate held. And what is with the Mech being able to shoot through walls?

If any of our staff played this at E3: we need impressions for the site!
If not we could always use guest impressions based on the demo. ;-)
