Just got done with a quick online session. Spikeout is definitely more fun than I originally gave it credit for. Not too amazing offline, but when you' re online with 3 other people smashing heads it gets really fun. We did a 53 hit combo against some poor bum we trapped in the corner. It was hilarious. Just wish this game wasn' t so ungodly hard.

This game is indeed tough, I don' t know what the developers were thinking by not allowing Continues! At least it turned out a little better than the E3 build. I was also happy to see the name of my man Shinji Hosoe appear in the credits as one of the composers! His Dragon Spirit & Saber stuff friggin RAWKED! The game could certainly use more interactive environments.

You beat it and saw the credits already? U r teh 133t gamr! At least you sound like it based on how tough people are saying it is (I haven' t played it yet).

Since it is AV, did they make the credits a game like Super Monkeyball? do you have to fight the credits?

GOD DAMN is this game hard, I made it to Level 3 Section 4, but got killed and the game won' t let ya continue at all, starts you at the beginning of 3-1 in Story mode and starts the game ALL over in the arcade mode. But I haven' t really messed with teh options screen much so I' m sure there has to be a continue feature somewhere in there, I don' t think Sega would have been crazy enough to make the game THIS nuts.
And Nah you can' t fight the credits here! It' s just normal scrolling text.

Nah it' s not horrible by any means. I mean there are many things I would have liked to see improved upon but at the very least the game is quite playable. It' s certainly NOT the spiritual Streets of Rage successor that I' ve heard people refer to it as in the distant past. I still don' t get why the two games were associated, lol..

I' d say just rent it but then again I doubt it' ll be available for such as there' s that dumb as hell EB exclusivity deal I believe.
