I' m so pissed at the fact that Game Crazy simply WILL NOT push ESPN at all. I asked my district manager months ago why Game Crazy (the corporation in general) aren' t pushing pre-orders for ESPN if it' s going to be 20 bucks, and he wanted to do it, but the suits apparently weren' t sending out any promotional ads. None of our surrounding four stores got anything regarding ESPN 2k5, and I suspect it was like this for many other GC' s across the country. However, we had PLENTY of advertisements for Madden 2005 and NCAA 2005. You' d think that any corporation' s main goal would be to sell as much product as possible. Something GC missed out on by not giving us the proper tools to advertise 2k5. But I guess following mainstream hype was more important than selling boatloads of a quality game. It doesn' t take a genius to know that Madden will sell, so why not give another critically acclaimed series a chance?

But I' m pretty sure Sony' s/EA' s constant sponsorship of our videogame tournaments probably had something to do with no ads for ESPN....
