NIN - Ghosts
-

Ghosts Trent Reznor decided to drop an album last night without any prior notice. It' s an instrumental album and it' s f*ckin' good! I bought the 2 disc set for $10. You can download the first 9 songs off the site for free. You can download the whole album for $5, get the 2 disc set for $10 (comes with digital download), some $75 package and some crazy $300 package(with stuff signed by Reznor). It' s all DRM free and is being hosted by torrents all over the place at this point. Reznor doesn' t care if you share. The site is having some major lag issues from getting slammed by all the downloads. I actually had to torrent the digital copy because the link I was given for my purchase kept crashing. Doesn' t matter though, I got the tracks and the cd set will be on the way in early April.

Make sure if you guys are going for the full album to double check how many songs are included. A lot of the torrents going around only contain the free first 9 songs. The full album contains 36 songs.

That should be good! this cd is two hours long and it' s amazing! I' m on song number 15. Normally I' m not a fan of music without vocals but this is mesmerizing.

Yeah, and I' ve been fairly pleased with those songs. Generally for me though I need vocals to draw me into a song. This is one of the first instrumental albums that I' m completely engrossed in.

Im the opposite. I' ve generally liked the instrumental tracks on NIN albums more than the songs. This should be a feast! When' s the album drop in the UK btw??

I' ve only been listening to the samples but this is very impressive stuff. I' m a big fan of NIN and this has that classic mix of chilling and intriguing sound that I know Reznor for. Will definitely get this, thanks for the link!

Listening to the whole album, I dunno if I like them as much as the instrumental tracks from The Downward Spiral. Tracks like Eraser or A Warm Place remain my favourite.
