GRAB YER MONKEY BALLS: DELUXE HEADING TO EUROPE!

News we sort of new anyway confirmed, but we' re really chuffed and we' ve got some screens too

17:02 It' s Super Monkey Ball on the PS2 and Xbox, and it' s called Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. Whoop whoop!
Sega has officially confirmed that SMBD will be coming to Europe next Spring. It' s a combination of the first two GameCube games stuffed onto one disc with a whole lot of extra gear too.

You' ll get 300 stages, 46 of which are totally exclusive to the Deluxe version, and a brand new Challenge mode that takes you through the levels in ascending order of difficulty rather than splitting them up. All twelve multiplayer party games from the GameCube titles are included and there are plans to include an additional six.

The Xbox version in particular promises to have improved visuals, and there' s even the possibility of online play and ranking boards for both versions but that hasn' t been confirmed.

Check the screens - they' re from the PS2 version and don' t look hugely different from the GameCube version. But it' s Super Monkey Ball dammit!
