Arcade action = YAY!

Exploration = NAY!

The nays have it. I was with the game until it turned into a Ninja version of Onimusha. I wanna be pummeling enemies non-stop from here to kingdom come, not looking for stuff, lol.

Amazing looking game however, great sound effects, but so far disappointing music. Should be worth a rental though.

Just out of curiosity, what could possibly be bad about Onimusha with a ninja?

I expected the game to be almost completely linear. Is it any more linear than Devil May Cry?

I' ll be getting NG at some point. The reviews everywhere are just too high, and the feedback is just too off-the-charts for me to pass it up.

Do you really think exploration plays that much of a role?

In my experience, the items you needed to procure just happened to be along the way as I joyfully whupped ass on hordes of ninjas. There was no searching whatsoever.

It' s still possible to get lost and run around in circles. I know some dude who still can' t complete the demo.

Now had Ninja Gaiden been on rails with no secret entrances and none of the doors required keys, it would have been impossible to ever get lost :D

But then again, people would hate it even more.....except me :D :p
