Alone in the Dark had a spark when it started, but now it' s just garbage, kind of like Sonic. People need to move on.

Theres a real trend in awarding semi hyped games with extremely low grades and über hyped games with pures 10' s
Im not sure who to trust anymore except people.

I dont know what a score of 3.5 really means, but I wouldn' t give any games a score that low - its better than a lot of games I' ve played. Its certainly better than Jericho. The game has some awful and awkward gameplay at times, so bad I' ve stopped playing at level 5. I tried skipping to the last level with the DVD chapter select, but of course didn' t understand what was going on, or how to progress - something about evil trees...  But the engine itself is nice, with some atmospheric lighting and definitely the fire is impressive. I dont think 3.5 is fair to any game.

dont pay over 50-60 for this game, I have to agree with some of the reviews.. But am enjoying it!
