Admist the mass coverage for the three major consoles, has there been any megaton announcements for either the PSP or DS?

DS had amazing announcements - Yoshi' s Island 2 , Shibi Robo , Starfox , Final Fantasy 3 and much more amazing stuff (Donkey kong for instance) - check some news sites

Yeah, StarFox DS. A huge part of me screams that they do a true sequel to Star Fox 64, since Star Fox: Armada simply did not have enough classic air battles, and focused too much on rail shooting and ground based missions.

What kind of sequel do I want? I want... Star Fox 2. I' ve heard nothing but praise for the final beta of the SNES Star Fox 2, and the mechanics - navigate Lylat in realtime map and eliminate the advancing enemy fleet - sound fun as heck. Just modernize the graphics and polish the mechanics, and you' ve got a great Star Fox title. Hype the DS? Say Star Fox, and I' m there.

Final Fantasy 3. That... does not look like it plays as an NES game. It' s... weird.

Quite weird I totally forgot about the announcements for the ds and psp right now I think there are so many games I need to finish so psp and ds are gonna have to wait for now plus starfox doesn' t interst me or the mario galaxy ' yahooooo' thing.

Everyone' s preparing for DS lite. I thinkt he games line-up for DS is somethign to look forward too, as alreadys tated, Starfox DS, Brain Training series, Diddy Kong Racing. DS looks more and more fun than PSP. To be honest, PSP line-up was fairly poor during sony' s announcement, only the addition of ripping and playing your PSX games on pSP seemed even noteworthy.

Maybe they didn' t show tons of stuff but the names above are reason enough to be happy you bought a PSP... I think.

The DS sure had lots of things to look forward to.

PS1 emulator? You' re joking, right? How' s that possible? We can put PS1 CD games into a custom UMD device or something?

Oh. Wait. This emulator is coming from Sony? Are they implementing this? What does one do to put their PS1 title onto stick? Just copy to stick from PC and go?

Sounds too simple for Sony. What' s the hitch?

yeah, at the sony pre show they showed ridge racer being played on the psp. Everything you would expect from a offical ps1 emulator.
