The release of Sadness is looking doubtful at this stage which is a shame.. The game has the potential to be great.... The Wii needs games like this..

Could you not see the potential of this game? The gameplay has the potential to be amazing. I think it is a very interesting concept, its just a pity that we probably won' t see how this game will turn out.

Yeah that could be why, maybe the game just wasn' t up to scratch. Anyway I thought it looked promising.

They should re-name the game as " Happiness" and see how things work out for them.

I think something along the lines of Halos 4 woul sell more copies.

Hmm I wouldve bought a Wii by now if it had more games like this. Seems the Wii is content with the majority of its line up being cute, distinctly samey feeling games.

I' ll buy a Wii when four conditions are met:

-Price drop to 200$ or less (purely out of principle)
-Black model is released
-Super Smash Bros. Brawl is released

Hadn' t heard of the first, I' ll look it up! I loved Manhunt, but I' ll probably be playing the sequel on another platform tbh.

I was looking forward to more original mature games that used the wiimote. A game like Sadness would have gone down a treat.

Sadness was a game being developed specifically for the Wii by Nibris, a new and untested Swedish game developer. Looks like they weren' t up to snuff, or whatever colloquialism would be appropriate.

There was a previous thread about them on Kikizo, but I don' t know where it is. Rampage actually did an interview with them and said in the thread that he wasn' t impressed with them. Too bad, I had high hopes for this game as well.

Nibris is a Polish company.

Well according to the developer Nibris the game is still in development.
