Amazing that ChromeHound scored so well. I hated EVERY minute of the game at E3. I found it way too slow and cumbersome to do anything with the one mech I got to play as.

Is Famitsu even creditable anymore? they seem just to please the fanbases rather than offer anything real.

who knows. Maybe i am wrong.

You mean like giving every square-enix / sony game highest score?
For ex they hyped FF7 dirge cerbues to the roof, then when it came it was crap, what did they do?
They delayed the revuew with 3 weeks where it got a crap score.
They refuse t ocomment why they delayed it.
But ff7 dirge cerbues managed to sell a lot of copies in japan under that time, however many ghamers was dissapointed....

Speaking of which, and this is a little off topic, but have they made a Megas XLR game? If they haven' t, I want to know why. That show was funny.

I recall these guys (famitsu) giving ninja gaiden and halo 2 a score of like 31 then giving dynasty warriors a 37 or something.

I don' t listen to their reviews, but its nice to see those 360 games get such a nice score.

Can you poke em to death with the stylus?

There are a few magz I don' t listen to out there... Famitsu being one of them,
then Edge (the simon cowell of videogame reviews) And Gamespot (they are big,
fat and stupid and all wear Sony boxershorts)

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Xbox 360, Ubisoft): 9 / 8 / 8 / 9 - (34/40)

Do you think they like it because Scott mitchell meets his dad in the end, and he
admits to making the cross-com?

Or because Scott Mitchell needs a sword to do his last mission, and it has
special robotic abilites, and increases his cross-com power tenfold and gives
him the ability to glow a light coloured yellow, and spot enemies from a mile off?

Or the Mexicans turn out to be a religious cult looking to raise all manner of
sin from hell, and Scott Mitchell has to vanquish all of them before the entire
army reaches earth?

Otherwise...

Why did Ghost Recon score so high?

Scott mitchell never dies nor meet his dad what are you talkin about :P

Often japanese games are like this...

teenage boy has problem with the world, but must save it and does it,at the same time he is saving the world he meets new friends on the way, that apparently is super strong and loyal and like to chatt along the way about meaningsless topics.

..and realise during final battle, that the problems with the world are his own problems and he has to fix himself and not the world.

Typical.
