I think it is more or less the fact those images were thrown around immedietly after Halo Wars was announced. I do thank you cataloging them here...but they have been seen before :P

Great Art though...the last pic makes me wary, I hope those are marines not Spartans.

Edit: Should clarify why I hope they are marines (although it is obviously spartan armor). The helmets and shoulders look out of proportion to say the Master Chief image that has been crafted for Spartans.

....i think they look odd because the artist hasn' t been able to capture the right ' feel' of a generic Spartan yet... ...many Spartan units signify batha-poodu... ...just like typical grunts/soldiers.... ...making one Spartan look mighty is far easier than doing the same for many...

...btw, does anyone expect Nicole (Spartan-458) to make an appearance?....

those are most likely Spartan III' s (read Halo: Ghosts of Onyx)
