Features sound very good:

first the price is 40$, it should be fixed the 19th september (wheter that would be the release date i don' t know)

this webcam will be compatible with PC running windows !! but not any webcam would run on 360 duh ...

you can add pictures with your messages via xbox live...

the webcam will enable the gemertag to be more customized, it will alow two pictures , one private for your friends and one pictures made for the public (visible in multiplayer games) , microsoft will also put a system to cencure kids who would put stuff like porn in the pictures.

the 360 audio player would be compatible with the webcam, may be waiving your hand to play/stop the music , how cool is that!

Tom Clancy' s Rainbow Six : Vegas would be the first 360 game to use teh webcam and allow players to map their faces on the virtual characters (at least in the multiplayer mode, that' s my guess)

some acrade xbox live will also benefit from the webcam.

Looks good. I thought EyeToy was one of PS3s saving graces. If MS can get some good functionality out of it, with some slick interfaces, it should be fun. And the added Windows support is a great bonus.
