Okay so I mentioned this problem long ago about how I get this error message from my DVD Drive:
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37) First I went thru the whole troubleshooting stuff that it said to. That didn' t work. Then I went to every updated every single thing I could think of (Nvidia, EVGA, Windows Update etc) still nothing. I then went out and bought a new drive just to see the same exact error message.
Incidentally this did occur at the same time I installed a new video card. The EVGA Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS. And a new power supply. The computer recognizes the hardware is there, it opens and closes and the little light flashes. But no matter what I just can' t get rid of the error message.
One last thing I can think of doing is removing the video card and dropping back to its original out of the box settings and going on from there.
I tried searching up the error but couldn' t get anything.
I really really hope someone can figure out what the *** is going on here.
