STOLEN from MagicBox.
- Sega announced they will release the arcade 2D vertical shooter Chaos Field for both GameCube and Dreamcast in Japan. The Dreamcast version will be released in December, while the GameCube version will be released in February 2005.
 Awesome news! I am SOOOO getting the Dreamcast version!

All I get is a big red ' Ex' of doom. Haha, nice to see the Dreamcast still living on. Are many games released for it in Japan?

It sounds a bit ' rumourish' to me. Can anyone confirm this with any official news? I can' t seem to find anything.

It' s not a rumor.. Check out the Sega of Japan site: http://www.sega.co.jp/dc/chaosfld/home.aspx While everything is in Japanese, I clicked on the Dreamcast section and it displayed an image of the game. So I believe it' s 110% official ;)

from time to time sega do publish a new DC game, theyve brought out some others not long ago, just like the ps1 it still gets the odd game, in japan only mind

Up until last year the Sega Saturn also still had some game releases in Japan. Although they were extremely low key they were still releases.. I said " up until last year" because there might still be some Saturn releases but I' ve heard nothing.

They are still releasing brand new games for the Sega Master System in Brazil. It' s the most popular system over there. Serious.

All good for those people who still loves and enjoy Dreamcast. I love it when old consoles get new games, just wish the same can be said for SNES, hehe, I love to play more games on it. I think the last one released on the SNES was what? 5 years ago with the release of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong' s Double Trouble?
