Yeah, apparently this isn't the trailer he saw at that meeting though. The one he saw was presumably sculpted out of solid gold, ambrosia and orgasms.

I wonder if the "painting" quote is going to become as notorious as the E3 2005 Killzone "target" footage?

The god of war trailer didn't look all that special to me. Not like I expected to see much in it anyway. The only thing that wasn't there that I expected were a bunch of naked women.

The uncharted one didn't really show anything either. At least he still likes saying "ooh crap". A bit funny to me though. Just started another playthrough of uncharted this weekend and now getting a new trailer.

uncharted looks unbelieveable, the lighting is fantastic. altough ingame i bet it is polished up a bit... looking forward to it...

Yeah, much more impressed with the Uncharted trailer.  GoWIII is a must buy anyways, though.

It played in Quicktime for me.  I think it just auto-detects what platform you are using.  I'm on a Mac so it figures I want to watch Quicktime.  You are on Windows so it assumes you absolutely love Windows Media.  However I believe you can choose a different format, like Flash or whatever, at the bottom of the video window somewhere.

I'd like to note that I'm rather unimpressed by God of War III's visuals.

The series has always been phenomenal, but this isn't the kind of ground-breaking hardware-pushing code we saw with God of War II. Not by a long shot.

Uncharted, as much as they tout the graphical advances, has only changed so much. I would say it's more of a stylistic departure than a real step forward. It's a good thing it looks fuck awesome I guess.

I think the next couple of console games will show little to know improvement.

I think maybe MS is ready to reveal some things about the 720 or what ever they wil call the neXt-box at E3.

it stated in 05 for most of us. i think a late 10 release would be good, thats 2 more years of xbox gaming.

Nah. We havent heard a lot of leaks and rumors involving new hardware. We'll hear those before we hear an announcement.

Microsoft projected a 5 year lifespan for the 360. that has to mean a 09 announcment for an 10 release. potentielly they will wait till 11 because they are stil a head of sony.
