Well, I' m considering getting one of these games. I' m looking for an action/shooter/hack' n' slash style of game-RPG elements would be a definite plus, but not neccesary. I' m thinkin about getting one of these:

Dysnasty Warriors 3
Crimson Sea
Unreal Championship
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Baldur' s Gate

Which one would you pick? They all look like good titles to me and I can' t decide...plus Unreal' s only 25 bucks. Any other game suggestions along these lines?

Crimson Sea looks like the best option to get if you are looking 4 a game with action/shooter with Rpg-Elements. Dynasty Warriors 3 wouldn' t be a bad choice either. Panzer Dragoon Orta is a great rail-shooter if u are looking for that type of game to play. The graphics are great and so is the boss battles and gameplay. In there are unlockables 4 replayability.

I' m a HUGE Sega fan and sadly I was ENORMOUSLY dissapointed with PDO. II beat it in 3 hours and was really frustrated the whole time becuse of the difficulty and controls. The replay value for me was absolutely zip. I tried the Saturn version that was unlockable and I couldn' t stand it either. I know I' m going against just about every reviewer in the world but I pretty much thought the game sucked

I own Crimson Sea and have yet to finish it. It is pretty good but is very difficult. Your teams A.I. really sucks and often cause you to use all their health packs on them. It is a draw back but it is still a fun game.

Dynasty Warriors 3 is a decent game going on about the same line as CS. This game however doesn' t have as deep of a story and is in ancient times.

UC is a really fun FPS that I have enjoyed ever since I picked it up. Slowdown can be a pain on multiplayer but other than that it is pretty sweet!

Baldur' s Gate was pretty cool. It is kinda like Diablo as far as the gameplay goes. I didn' t have much time to play it when I rented it though so I can' t give as much of an opinion on that.

UC is only 25 bucks, and if you wana have a fun time with some VIP members then get that, but it can get stale without live.

so rampage....lets say you don' t have any of these games....which would you pick?

Based on what you wanted and personal experiences with each game, I' d say Crimson Sea. Good story line, seems pretty RPGish. Good control. It is VERY hard though, just a warning.

...by hard do you mean difficult enemy ai and that its hard to kill the aliens or is it tedious hard like having to find a certain hidden object or passageway. I like a game that' s challenging (Halo on Legendary), but not one that' s tedious (Splinter Cell).

I mean there are littereally thousands of enemies on the screen at once. I have pulled off a 289 hit combo. These creatures are simply overwhelming and the bosses are a HUGE challenge. There are some timed levels, searching levels, and protecting people levels but the majority is hacking away at a massive amount of alien creatures.

UC, Crimson Sea, or Dynasty Warriors 3 would all be solid choices. UC to play with the rest of VIP, Crimson Sea if you like sci/fi type hack and slashes, or Dynasty Warriors 3 if you prefer shogun era ass kicking.

Crimson Sea' s lookin better and better to me. I would get UC, but I just recently got MA and I already have GR so I got plenty to keep me busy with online play-not to mention my addiction with Star Craft online.

Does anyone know if you can play co-op in Crimson Sea?

Well I know that Dynasty Warriors 3 has co-op so it would seem logical that they would include that feature in this game as well. Don' t quote me on that of course though.

No co-op, it' s 1 player.

Skurf-I would say for some immediate fun rent Two Towers. It makes a good rental (because its relatively short, although getting all the unlockables takes some time) and its great hack and slash action.

Well I' d go for PDO, its not as good as it should have been but its the best out of that list. A little less time spent on killing bosses would have made all the difference.
