Assassins Creed 40 hours long?
-

I was just listening to a inverview with Jade (posted on IGN, i cant bother to find the link) And she mentions that they were trying to find a art direction that feels medival and not fantasy that we would want to watch for 40 hours. This would be a major step forward in regards of how long games are these days, but its probably too good to be true!

Every developer lies and add 5-20 hours gameplay. If we' re lucky its 20 hours then.

As long as there is a " making of" with Jade Raymond in her " Crib" then it could be a 4 hour game for all I care.

You' re a dead man Dan. If she was just Assassin' s Creed/Ubi Soft PR, then I' d be like " meh" , but she' s actually smart/successful and got the looks, so she' s a very rare package. It' s more a fascination and obsession with the package, than the woman herself. If she was just a voice actor, well, I wouldn' t be banging on about her put it that way. So yeah, Raymonds Creed comes out November? Sweet!

Jade was a programmer and is now a publisher. Her creative input for Assassins Creed will be extremely limited. The guy making all of the creative desicions is Maxime Beland... He was also lead game designer on Rainbow Six: Vegas. Raymond is just a pumped up manager/PR spokesperson...

Raymond is just a pumped up manager/PR spokesperson... You figure that out now? A lot of these people can' t handle next-gen technology. Lots of people get offended when I dont mention kitase' s hard work in FF serie, but the truth is both Sakaguchi and Kitase has not been able to do any programmer work since FF7 with the ps1,Sakaguchi himself said that a psx was to hard to develop for ,atleast for him and kitase. While NES+SNES they both made graphic+animations and programmed the code for. So lots of these producer guys just " was" there when a serie or game was made into a success, and younger more talent people work at the graphic now,.
