Seems creative and colourfull, unlike most games today.

Anybody here played Odin Sphere on the PS2? Muramasa is by the same developer.

I'm not a massive fan of points-driven scrolling beat-em-ups - unless there's co-op - but I'd buy this for the box art alone. The spirit of Metal Slug is strong in this one...

Couldn't get into Odin Sphere. Played Grim Grimoire all the way through and pretty well loved it; didn't beat all the side missions, however.

I don't like the "gruesome" mode (wii swagging) versus the "hardcore mode" (the real game, played classic style). The Wii controller scheme has yet to be vindicated.

You obviously have not played No more hero's or even more so: Madworld. Takes that gameplay to a next level. Madworld simply refines the walk alone beat em up.. Gameplay is SICK!

Im so glad it refines a dead genre. And No More Hero's is garbage. If it released on a system with real games (360, PS3, or PC) no one wouldve given a shit. There are only 2-4 good games on the Wii. Just because a game is better than the rest of the garbage library doesnt make it good. Losing 1 nut is better than losing both, but either still sucks.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not remotely saying it tops the PS3 and 360, but there are a few great games knocking around on the thing.

Actually Boom Blox is good. Not worth $50, but its good. I bought it for Eann and Evan a while back, I'll let you borrow it sometime.

Boom Blox is awesome. Makes Wii Sports look like a yoyo.
