BECAUSE IT' S CALLED FORZA!!! Seriously -- countless millions spent on research, development, time, and elbow grease... and the best name they could come up with is Forza?!? Perhaps naming the title should have been a job for Bungie.

Why not just call it Halo: the Racer. You would have brand recognition. LOL. and just like most games, it would have nothing to do with the license.

Isnt forza on all them " PUMA" commercials. I think the only reason forza will fail is because of the vast amount of customization. The novice crowd will almost be cut out of all the racing online fun cuz the pros have beefed up fully customized cars. Then again Ninja Gaiden wasnt for a novice crowd neither but that certainly did well.

I questioned the name aswell but after watching the footage I have very little worry for this game. It has the potential to kick some @$$. I just hope it pulls through.

Forza also has the damage I love to, on a bad day, come home and find a game where i can just wreck the hell outta somthing. The better it looks the more pleasure i get out of destroying it.

A game dedicated to those who love to crash stuff. The first one came out a long time ago a pretty low budget deal but quite fun. The 2nd was more fun but still in the lower budget catagory. Now that EA has taken control and since they have ltosa money to put into the project this one looks to definatly improve on the already very fun aracde styler racer. Very fun basically

Name will also have nothing to do with the success or failure of a game, after all, who wants to play a shooter named after something around an angle' s head or play a stealth game based on a rather painfull wound and the place you get raped in prison.

WHat if the game was call Pink Fluffy BOO BOOs: Motorsport? To some ppl the name of a title does mean alot for some reason, and I bet Halo was questioned by some of those who live under a rock. I myself dont care what the title of the game is called...then again my above example would make me question it...

Do you know what a splinter cell is? Lol, that definition you gave was very sad.

I splinter cell is a small group that is seperated from the larger whole and basically does its own thing with little to no information from the group given out. Terrorist groups often work this way. They work in small groups with a common goal but work independantly from one another in order to make sure if one group is captured they can' t spill the beans on another group simply because they don' t know. I' m still not sure whether the title refers to the terrorist groups 3rd Echalon is trying to fight or if it refers to 3rd Echalon itself. It could go either way. The first one made it sound like it was more oriented toward the terrorists, like how the chinese borke of into splinter factions which is the same thing as a splinter cell.
