Next gen is missing something very important

COLOR
The next generation of games are looking good no doubt, but sometimes I feel every game has the exact same color palette. Where are the truly colorful games like Super Mario Sunshine, Sonic Adventures, Jet Set Radio Future?? Certain parts of Kameo look colorful while others look dark and browny like a PC game (though still beautiful). Hopefully more games will have lush, vibrant colors in the future.

I agree with lotusson... When exiting my home, I see a plethora of color...that' s life. But almost every videogame seems to lack this vibrant life-like color set. It' s like the developer puts just enough color to look adequate... I understand that some games require less colorful, more eerie, environments. But what about those that are based on outdoor settings that lack the colors of life? I just hope that developers are paying attention! ' Cause if they don' t get better, I' ll go back to old school and leave the mediocrity behind.

has n e one noticed the bland coulors of the next gen shooters? i know there supposed to have gritty enviroments but we dont wanna have a nother shellshock shooter

Hopefully Shenmue 3 " IS" in production. That oughta bring back the color into games.

We also need more games in good ol Black & White... Sega' s Blood Will Tell started off on the right foot by displaying everything in B&W, but then later switched to color, that' s when I just shut the game off in disgust.

Has anyone wondered why the game black&white wasnt black&white?. Stupid to me even tho it was a good game
