Impressive technical apart from the animations.. I really like the way light is factored into it.

Recently I played through half life 2 for the first time [I finally got into it] and was impressed by its use of physics, this seems to step it up, what we really talked about next gen.

But then again knowing what the other alone in the dark games where like [not to my taste] it could just be a good engine on a crap game, lets see if it takes the resi4 route..

It does look impressive. I like the approach they are taking with this, and hopefully like you said, is not going to be just a cool engine on a crap game. I sure hope the whole Atari situation doesn' t affect the development of this game.

The Alone in the Dark games were usually pretty solid, and they were pretty atmospheric. You can thank Uwe Boll for destroying the name!

Impressive engine though. Lots of new games have great lighting these days. I was really impressed by DMC4.

When watching the vids, all I could keep thinking about is just how fantastic the atmosphere is.
