1 terrabyte of info and a transfer rate of 1 gig a second. Yikes. No worries about it coming out rigth away cause theres nothing that could take advantage of it anyway!! How many programs actually exceed more than 2-3 gigs of info now adays? Hardly any, although it wouldn' ve been sweet to install Battle for Middle Earth in 3 seconds! Sounds interesting for the future though.

In between your coughing Terry I happened to notice that you bring up Squaresoft' s cut scenes. Let' s remember (although I' ms sure we' d like to forget) that Final Fantasy: The Boredom within looks better than any CG cut scene, and the whole movie fits on one DVD. Video takes up a set amount of space on a disc. They just use a huge computer to compute all that data and then record it as a video. Even at High definition, 2 hours of video is only going to be maybe 20 gigs. And that' s with sound extra features, commentary etc.

Are you suggesting my DVD player is not rendering Toy Story 2 in real time as it plays but instead is only streaming an .m2v file??????????????????????
