..... In Japan. Just finished watching an episode of Attack of the Show, and they made this statement saying it was all due to the new Nintendog games being released for the DS. Apparently 95000 units of the DS sold in the last 5 days of April alone. Wow. I doubt somehow that those games will have similar effects over here, but still this is pretty neat.

Sadly that sales spike may probably last for one week only. We' ll just have to wait and see. But Nintendogs did amazingly get all 10 scores from Famitsu, that certainly had to help a little.

yea, they worship that mag. I bet if it said jump off a cliff, the japs would do it! too bad we dont have a mind controlling dicatorship in form of a mag/gaming service...oh wait.

awesome news, i was wonderin how DS was goin in comparison to PSP and i am surprised to hear that it outsells all consoles and handhelds, AWESOME go nintendo

DS is a very japan friendly console though...
they love things like that...
they probably attach things to it like they do with their mobiles...
they don' t have room for real pets either so nintendogs is perfect! they can even take it for walks heheh
