Source : www.ign.com Wii Tennis Game : May 7, 2006 - The latest issue of Time Magazine reports that Nintendo is underway with a Wii version of tennis. It is not yet known if this game will be a Mario Tennis entry or something entirely separate. A reporter for Time played a demo of the game and loved it so much that Nintendo had to pry the controller from his hands, in his own words. In the tentatively titled Wii Tennis, the free-hand style controller becomes a racket, enabling gamers to deliver forehanded and backhanded smacks. Time reports that the " sensors are fine enough that you can scoop under the ball to lob it, or slice it for spin." IGN will have much more on the game in the coming days. Twilight Princess Wii : May 7, 2006 - The new issue of Time Magazine features a piece on Nintendo' s new Wii console, in which the reporter got to play the latest demo of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The article explains that using the Wii remote, gamers can control Link' s sword, use his bow and arrow and even go fishing. In the latter mode, the Wii remote changes into a rod and gamers will need to physically reel in fish. All of these modes and more are expected to be shown off at the Electronics Entertainment Expo 2006. Stay tuned. One Piece May 7, 2006 - The latest issue of Japan' s weekly Shonen Jump comic magazine is home to first screens and details for Bandai Namco Games' second anime-based Wii title. The company is hard at work on One Piece Unlimited Adventure for the system, based off the popular One Piece anime. Details are scarce on this action-adventure title. The game is said to have a tremendous sense of scale; in fact, the feeling of freedom is one of the themes. Original character designs will reportedly make it into the game. Visually, the game appears to use cell shading. The screenshots shown in the magazine don' t look too far off from current generation consoles, but we' ll wait to see the game in motion before judging. Unlike the recently announced Wii version of Dragon Ball Z, One Piece seems to be an exclusive Wii title, as the magazine makes no reference to a PlayStation 2 version. It' s unclear if One Piece Unlimited Adventure will make an appearance at E3, but regardless of that, details should be forthcoming from Japanese sources in the coming weeks. Stay tuned, anime-loving Wii fans! Wario Ware Wii May 7, 2006 - The latest issue of Time Magazine features an early look at Nintendo' s new console, Wii, with some interesting revelations. The publication officially confirms that a Wii version of WarioWare is in development and will make full use of Nintendo' s innovative new controller. According to Time, WarioWare features such quick-paced mini-games as fly swatting, squat thrusting, turning keys into locks, catching fish, driving cars, sautéing vegetables, balancing brooms and coloring in circles. All of these use the free-hand style controller for a new level of immersion, according to the piece. Incidentally, Time seemed to love Wii and the controller. We' ll have more from E3 2006 on Tuesday.

I' ve read some of this guy' s comments on REV after he played it - he was blown away to say the least. I mean he said things like -it' s like removing that wall between you and your TV - there' s something VooDoo about it, cause the things you do and actions on screen make it feel like another level of interaction. _not exactly his words but as faithful as I remembered :)
