Right now, I own 6 XBOX games...Halo, Serious Sam, Dead Or Alive 3, Soul Calibur 2, ESPN NFL 2005, and Pure Pinball. That number will increase to 9 with the new arrivals of Wings of War, Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, and Halo 2.

But, at my peak of bachelorhood, I owned as many as 50 games for each of the following systems:

Atari 2600
Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
Sega Genesis

What was the most games you have ever owned at any one time for a single system?

The most games I ever owned at one time for a system was on the Sega Dreamcast.. I bought an import unit a few weeks after the Japanese launch and I practically bought everything and the kitchen sink for that console, even games I hated like Zombie Revenge and Sega Rally 2. By the time the U.S. launch came around I had more games than there were available for the U.S. Dreamcast even 3 weeks after it launched.

I guess 60+ would be a close enough figure,.. My Sega Saturn collection is closing in on the Dreamcast and I predict it will surpass it early next year as there are only a handful of Dreamcast games left that I want, the Saturn on the other hand has 2 truck loads of titles that I need to get my grubby paws on..

But, I must say that I do like Wings of W-o-r, too!

I did have a huge (HUGE!) selection of Megadrive games but traded them in for Saturn games. I still have a load of Saturn games though as they were worth nothing when the Dreamcast came out and I' ve kept all my Dreamcast games out of sentimental value. At the moment I have more PS2 games that I have for any other console but I keep trading them in 2/3 at a time to drive down the price of a new game. In fact I' ve an old WWF Smackdown game and Zone of Enders ready to part exchange for Burnout 3 when it comes out.

Anyway my biggest collection of games belongs to the Saturn, followed by the Dreamcast and then by the Genesis and then Xbox. I freakin' love the Saturn. No way could its games ever be worthless, no matter what system came out. I really want to build my Genesis and Sega Master System collection. I guess that' s what eBay is for. I' ve never used ebay, so hopefully people will let me buy from them since I have no feedback at all. UK Sega Master System games work on the US units, so I want to try and get cool games like Out Run 3D. I sold all of my SMS games shortly after I got the Genesis. STUPID! Some favs that I am still missing include:

Wonder Boy in Monster Land
Wonder Boy III: The Dragon' s Trap
Rescue Mission
Maze Hunter 3D
Ghost House (card, though it comes on cartridge in funky England)

and many more!

I also sold some of my Genesis games which I wish I hadn' t like Revenge of Shinobi. I sold the cartridge because it came with the Sega CD, but the cartridge has Godzilla and Batman in it!

I have most all games I' ve ever had, and that' s about 112 total games. I think it breaks down like this-

I' m still looking for about 5-10 more PSOne games and 10-15 SNES games, all mostly rare. But right now, I' m fairly happy with the collection.

I never really owned too many games.
Only had about 5 or so NES games
I still have about 35 SNES games packed away somewhere in my old room
I have about 5 or so PS games (plus like 25 burnt ones - but we don' t count those )
And for PS2 I have about 18 right now but traded in another 10 - 12

Oh and I also have a bunch of PC games.

I have approx. 80 games (PS1, PS2, GC, XBox,SNES, GBC, GBA)

The most I ever owned was The GameCube Games. All I can say those are the most expensive games to buy because they don' t go down in prices.. well now they do but they are still pretty high.
