I could be wrong and need to play the final game but in all the videos I' ve seen and the front row gameplay footage seen at E3 I didn' t see any of the branching roadways that were a staple of the original Outrun.... That was one of the coolest things about the original, Getting to the end of each level, the road branching off into two directions and having to choose one of two directions to travel in... Did they eliminate that in Outrun 2?

I still totally adore the game I just think it would be a little disappointing if that piece of Outrun tradition was absent.

Terry, what are you on about, where' d you get that info from? On the demo it' s plain to see where you *could* branch out to but there is a big barricade blocking you and ushering you left down the ' easy' path.

LOL... So far the few videos I' ve seen had straightforward tracks. I guess certain modes don' t have the branching roadways? Regardless I' m VERY happy to hear(read) that my fears were unfounded. Thanks for setting me straight!!!!!

With that bit of news, Outrun 2 is back to being Perfect!!!!

You guys may take turns slapping the crap out of me for not downloading All of the videos so could see it for myself, LOL..

SHAME ON YOU JOE!

Umm... he' s " Joseph" . I' m Joe.

Anyway you can tell just from looking at the map that the paths branch. You still have a map with multiple ends like da original Out Run. Gran Turdismo fans will hate this game for not allowing them to change and adjust the type of thread that is used to sew together the fabric that is used to construct the seats, thus making Out Run 2 completely unenjoyable.
