Halo Question... - Sep 21, 2004 01:05
I finished Halo, on the normal mode, for the second time just a few days ago. I was re-playing it to practice for Halo 2.

I decided to start playing through in Legendary mode (top difficulty with the 2 swords and the skull).

Besides the obvious changes like increased difficulty and smarter AI, I noticed that when I was to rescue the other troops in the second level: the terrain was significantly more hilly, had more boulders, and the general layout was different.

My question is:

Has anyone else noticed terrain and other changes from the normal mode?

No...I didn' t notice any of that. Of course it' s been almost a year now since I went through and beat every level back to back on all levels so I could be wrong.

I dunno...I don' t remember any terrain changes on Legendary. Then again, I never finished the game on that mode, either.

There' s a ' hidden' bit to the ending you get to see but that’s about it. I don' t think there are any changes to the layout of the levels.
