I haven' t played Ecco the Dolphin in years!

Now that was a controller-smashingly difficult game... and its sequel was even more tough. But the controls were tight and the levels beautifully designed.

XBLA is getting pretty interesting. I' m going to have to buy some more points. The only arcade game I' ve bought off the marketplace was Castlevania: SOTN

I' ve never checked out the games on XBLA. What good games are there anyway, if any?

Depends what your after, there are some solid titles really depends what you are looking for. Generally pretty kewl for keeping younger relatives and gf' s happy for hours thou. It' s becomming quite a hotspot for niche games, - arcade perfect paperboy for example!

the original Ecco wasn' t near as hard as the Ecco on Dreamcast if you ask me.

And why bother buying it on XBL both have been on VC for a while already you should have gotten them there already

I have to agree. By a wide margine too. Every 360 owner should own GW. At least try it for free, then buy it. It' s cheaper than renting a game.

That' d be the best 50$ you' d ever spend on your 360.

Y' know what' s funny about the Ecco on Dreamcast, it is manageable until you get
to the two-dimensional part, then you' re stuck in this odd reef kind of maze.

Really peeved me off.

Regarding XBLA, I' ve been getting into Robotron 2084. It intimidated me when I was a kid but I' m enjoying it now.

Kinda like how when I was in kindergarten, the 4th graders were like these huge, intimidating giants who you didn' t dare mess with. Now that I' m an adult, 4th graders are really easy to push around.

For some co-op action try Assault Heroes. It' s a lot of fun.

If you like classic arcade games they' ve got Pac-man and Miss Pac-man, Frogger, Contra, Gauntlet, Galaga, Double Dragon, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat 3, and TMNT.

If you like puzzle games, they' ve got Lumines, Hexic, Bejeweled.

You can also get card games, like Spades, Uno, and Texas Hold Em.

Basically, you WILL find something on their you' ll like!

Hell, I' ve got 35 arcade games on my 360!

I' m looking forward to the upcoming pack with Chess, Checkers, Mancala and one or two other board games that has camera support. My friends and I have taken to greeting each other with a game or two of these sort before moving on to the more serious mayhem of the evening, because it' s easy to chat and catch up prior to virtually exploderating each other.
