I have a PC, equipped with Windows XP home edition. I also have a cassette player.

A teacher, at my daughter' s school, wants me to record this cassette tape onto CD.

I was thinking that there should be the capability with a patch cord from my cassette player to the microphone jack on the computer, but I have not accomplished this task.

This is where I could use some assistance from someone who may know a little something about how to successfully complete this task.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
