I was totally let down with Blue Dragon. Considering who it was made by it is a very poor attempt to bring jrpg to the 360. We can only hope Lost Odyssey offers something near to the quality of Final Fantasy VII or even Chrono Trigger.

I found FF3 (not the US version which is really FF6) to be pretty abysmal too. While the gameplay was decent, it had little to no storyline, which for an RPG is one of the main components. While I understand that it' s an incredibly old game, even Mario platformers from equivalent times have a better story than FF3.

I' ll be picking up BD tomorrow too. Have not had time to play the demo nor have I read any reviews of it, so I' ll be able to see things with a clean slate.

Bought Bioshock and Blue Dragon yesterday both on 360. Easily playing more of BD so far, I dunno not getting into Bioshock the same way as I did with System Shock 2. I' m sure it gets better later on...

BD is so cool though. Everything from the menus to the music to the fmv scenes. Its just perfectly presented. Just like watching one of the best old japanese cartoons. Only with slightly dubious dubbing as always. :P (It' s not as bad as I thought it was going to be though!)
