Wii music is a great concept and was one of the first Wii game i was looking forward to..



Miyamoto showed off an early Demo at the begining of E32006 (conducting to the Legend of Zelda Theme)..

Your character will be able to choose from a selection of 40 different instruments (take that Rock Band!) and play with up to 3 friends. Don’t expect to see Nintendo release a plastic xylophone anytime soon though. You’ll be using your Wiimote and Nunchucks to control everything.

Thats mighty impressive if you ask me. Also it' ll feature classic Videogame music.. And i' ve heard Not just Nintendo classic but Classics from other top japanese Companies too..

Imagine not just being limited to a 6-8 band rock kit, but a Full orchestra, for many different music styles.. Wii music is going to be class.

It' s clearly aimed for kids the ages 5-10. It' s just SIMPLIFIED Guitar Hero. I' d rather get Guitar Hero on Wii instead. At least that will have real music with it.

The ability to make music is useless if you don' t have all the notes.

If you want to play music, get a guitar or a freakin piano..

Well it didnt really stand a chance. I' m sorry i broke your heart.

It just seems to me like Nintendo is throwing off some cheap shots. 40 instruments, tell me, how do i play a tuba on the Wii mote, its not going to be accurate, and its going to be little more than pressing buttons on a traditional controler, though because its on the Wii its going to be fun? Give me a break. Nintendo should atleast try and release a couple of " real" games before succumbing into shit like this.


I keep my right to any game i deem stupid, be it on the Wii, the 360, or the PS3, even though i break hearts when i mention wii games.

I was never too bothered about Wii Music. It all seems way too simplistic to waste £30+ on, to me. You' d be better off buying Wii Sports seperately.

40 instruments on screen yeah, but how many repeat gestures? Why not just grab one them keyboards? Or better yet just use your already available PC keyboard and go Here! Sure you don' t get as many nintendo songs or instruments but hey it' s free.

Have you ever played Samba Di amigo? Do you know how much Fun that game is?

This takes alot from it and adds a whole lot more (hopefully some of the classic SEGA tracks too).. With 3 other friends Wii music is going to be immense fun, especially seeing your own individual Mii' s on your perspective Instrument.

It' s all about achievement with friends and having a different experience than the normal games out there..

Ive had 6 player sessions on Daigassou DS (Band-brothers) and when we got the rhythm timings and fully mastered ' slider' From M64 it was one of the most immensely fun and memorable gaming experiences ever, Probably even better than my clan coming second in the European quake 3 championships a few years back Or even winning one round vs Chibita in VF4: FT.. (still lost the game tho.. lol).. WM is going to be great.
