Does it seem that every fighter game will inevitably have a action style spin-off these days?

Mortal Kombat had one years ago with that horrid sub-zero game (ick i hated it), Tekken has that one game coming out soon, Team ninja took it in a odd direction with a volleyball spin-off but they too ended up making Ninja Gaiden, and VF has the cyber generation. I think its cool cuz i always have the question in the back of my mind - " what if that guy/gal had their own kick-ass game?"

Street Fighter had one in the aweful Street Fighter 2010 for the NES.

As long as the game turns out good I' m happy. There are people in fighting games I' ve always thought would be awesome in their own games.

yeah, Samurai Showdown had there RPG game, and it was lame. KOF had an RPG type of game and it was kind of good. games that cross over are (for the most part) a cheap what to get ppl money. of course i will get " that is not true" post from ppl but i feel that it is a easy way out from coming up with there own ideas." hmmm, lets make a game" . " what about?" " i do not know what do we have around here?" " We have Nina Williams, is that good?" " That will have to do" .
No iedas for themselves. They made Tekken. Do not milk it dry.
