Yep, pretty sad although I haven' t been a huge fan of all of his movies like some of my friends are. His best movie for me was Apocalypse Now. I heard on the news today that he was 20 million bucks in debt. I wonder how he got that far in the hole?

Why is it always sad when cinematic legends die? We never knew them personally, they haven' t done anything in years and yet the whole world greives with their passing. I guess it is because we remember thier lives, the contirbutions they make to movie history, this man did a lot.
