Tekken vs Virtua Fighter

IGN: On a totally unrelated note, SEGA' s Katsuhiro Harada and yourself acknowledged several years ago that a " Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter" game was something you' d like to do one day. What are the chances of us ever seeing that?
Suzaki: I had the opportunity to speak with the director of Virtual Fighter on many occasions in the past and actually talk of collaboration came up again recently. Being from the same industry, this is something we definitely would like to try at least once. Looking at it from another perspective, we began to realize that it would actually be more difficult to make this happen than we first thought. More than anything, we believe this decision greatly lies in our fans. So, we would actually like to ask for our fans' opinion on this.
LINK Now that would be special. They wouldn' t be able to include every character from both games though so what characters would you like to see in a Tekken vs Virtua Fighter game??? I' d take... They should take one character from each game per fighting style.
To match them up.
King VS El Blaze comes to mind.

I' ll play anything with Lau Chan in it. If they make " Lau Eating a Bowl of Breakfast Cereal" for Wii, I' ll be there and I' ll be amazed at how fluid, intuitive and deep the controls are.

Oh man would I love this game. My two favorite fighting games coming together as one, its like a dream come true *sniff*.
Not only that, but I have so many friends who love Tekken but won' t play VF. Oh how I would love to let them play their Tekken characters and kick their ass with Wolf. It would definitely make itself a very consumer friendly game, giving you so many fighting options.
