2:19 p.m.: First-party software will debut at $59.99 for Genji, Resistence, and NBA 07. The controller will be $49.99. Memory card adaptors will be $14.99, while the Blu-ray remote (in December) will be $24.99.

Note the specified ' First Party software will debut' . Interesting they didn' t say ALL games will be US$60. Also note the price of the controller - US$50.

Assasin' s Creed, Call of Duty 3, Marvel UA, and Rainbow 6: Vegas are not first party games.

As for the price, i think Microsoft need to bring their game prices down. If Blu-Ray comes with additional development costs, then Microsoft should really be selling at the same price they had for new Xbox titles.

Mass produced DVD' s dont even cost half a penny to produce, there is NO reason for X360 games to cost the same as PS3 ones.

As far as I' m concerned the only good MS-made game are the Halo games, everything else they' ve produced is trash. All the top xbox games besides Halo 1 & 2 were all 3rd party titles, they cant come close to sony' s ability to deliver qualiy games,

first, GT and ratchet and clank suck, God of War is a decent game. the key word there is decent, you cant compare it to games such as fable.

I dont want to sound like a fanboy, but I agree with chef to an extent.

I dont like Japanese RPGS, they involve no talent and usually no choice in the story. So for me what does Sony have? God of War(great game, but Ninja Gaiden is better), and Shadow of the Collosus(overrated due to " great" graphics that didnt compare to an XBox launch title such as DOA3 or Halo and boring gameplay IMO)

So what does that leave for a gamer like myself Evil? You mean to tell me that the PS3 is a good idea for FPS and Action games? No, the controller sucks for FPS, and is uncomfortable in general. While I probably will get a PS3 for UT2007, I' ll definately be playing it with a keyboard/mouse, and not that garbage sony controller. Dont get that statement wrong though, its good for say.., turnbased RPGs where precisision isnt needed.
