I doubt Metal Gear and Killzone 2 will make those dates, the rest are pretty much definate launch titles for the US and european releases. Fight Night Round 3 and Killing Day will be out long before then on 360 (isn' t Fight Night out in the US already?).

Gamestops original 360 launch dates were wrong, they were right on EBgames and Wallmarts sites.

November sounds right for the US launch with UK and PAL territories having to wait until at least February 2007.

It' ll be interesting since Nintendo expect to launch about the same time in the US.

We can only hope that all of the stated october dates are release titles, and as for the dates on the site, seeing as how sony is being a total information monger. (I' m liking you less and less every day sony) i have this, and only this to go on. but you' d think that if they had had confirmation from sony that they were gonna make their release dates, that they' d post an earlier one.

This is obviously a case of them making info up to get preorders, nothing more.

Man I was so excited, I thought they' d gotten some official word that it would be released but then it turns out it wasn' t. Biggest let down in my life.

I don' t doubt the PS3 will have many games after a year or so but at launch?
The PS2 didn' t have that many and the PSP kind of lacked launch titles too.
But I guess it depends on when they launch. Spring launch = few launch titles.
2007 launch = lots of launch titles.

Yes...because psx was so huge,and many games was in development for psx,however i doubt thats the case now,i think its the chance to have the games out there that will force many dev to throw out titles.

Erm, the PSX is no longer used to refer to the PS1 because Sony actually released a unit called the PSX and it' s stupid!

Consoles NEVER get loads of launch titles, even if games are ready at launch companies usually hold them off. Why would a company want its game to have to compete with tons of other titles?!

Adam, how come you' re so sure about PS3 not launching this year. You don' t even think the US will get it at christmas?

PS3 will definitely have at least as much launch titles as 360 (and that wouldn' t make it enough to say " much" ) - it' s the quality of those games you should care about.

If FF12 turns out to be great (which I doubt) then I will start dreaming about FF13 I guess :)
