Good God, is Sony really that desperate? I don' t really care about the goat (although it does seem like a depressing waste of good meat) but snakes? Knife throwing?? Topless wom- well on second thought . Anyway, I just find it weird that Sony would be willing to do some weirdo pagan ritual to sell a game.

ORIGINAL: mastachefbkw I don' t know, having a cool event boosts sales maybe? Promotes the game, etc? I just think its odd that some people would buy a game just because people killed a goat over it It' s not about making people buy the game, it' s promoting it, I totally forgot about God Of War 2 and now I remembered, because news related to it spread to a stupid forum and I ran into it. So yes it works, stfu.

This was blown way out of proportion. Yeah it was dumb, but it wasn' t as bad as everybody said it was. The goat was already dead when Sony bought it. They got it from a friggin' butcher. The animal would have died regardless. The " entrails" weren' t really entrails, they were like cooked chitlins of some variety. The snakes weren' t venomous, or harmful to humans in any way. The topless women were... um... topless women.
