ORIGINAL: ginjirou I see Virtua Fighter II for Wii on that list... animated violence? Yes yes, obviously for the Virtual Console. Thinking about it, Quake III could have been great on Wii as long as they nailed the controls.

You might be disappointed with VF II, it could well be the Mega Drive version rather than the Saturn version. Though Sega really need to get some classic Saturn games up there, think about releasing the original Nights around the same time as Nights 2

If I remember correctly, it was you hoping & pining & praying for Quake III, but whatever. I was almost expecting this sooner, maybe closer to the 512 memory unit' s release. (The one that looks like a weird Mad-Cats knock-off, BTW)

ORIGINAL: Eddie_the_Hated If I remember correctly, it was you hoping & pining & praying for Quake III, but whatever. It' s the same thing Eddie! It was mentioned by a guy who works for Future Publishing in the UK about 8 months ago, and every time we got some news about bigger memory units i' ve brought it up, ...hoping that it would be true. The limit for XBLA games is 150MB right? That' s going to take some fancy compression. But then again, there is an UE3.0 based game already up and clocking in at under 50MB so they' ll probably be ok. It needs full mouse + keyboard support though. Pads just won' t cut it!

I was a champ at Q3. Fully completed every single map on nightmare, my railgun hit rate was aroun 95%. Yes gamepads just wont cut it for a game like this.

I would pay to watch old PC gods play against people on the Xbox over Live with this. Someone such as Fatal1ty would make a 1v15 game look like he was playing against retarded infants. edit - I apologize to any retarded infants I may have offended in this post, or the caregivers thereof.

Saturn games on Wii or 360 would be so friggin awesome but is it possible? There never was a Saturn emulator. Isn' t the Saturn nearly impossible to program for because of some shitty last minute solution with two crappy processors and stuff?

It does need full mouse + keyboard support, but they won' t do it. They' d never kill their controller sales by letting you use your mouse & keyboard for everything, & they' d be flayed alive for allowing it in just one game. I' ll eat my hard-drive if it happens.

Q3 needs M&K. Dreamcast Q3 worked so well mainly due to M&K. The Q3 weapon & map design' s, require' s a far more level of pin-point Accuracy than the 360 pad can scope. Still could be quite fun though.

Indeed, Q3 on DC was great with the Mouse and Keyboard. Surprisingly good online for a 33K modem.

Yeah, Watching this It' s come to me that no console FPS has yet to come close to the speed and preciseness that the humble Dreamcast and quake III offered. Dreamcast was soo far ahead of its time.

Q3 on DC is the greatest PC to Console Port ever. You could even had precise control over the game speed and gravity.

Anyone else notice that it disappeared off of the ESRB site? But if you type in " Quake" under 360, Quake 2 comes up. Actually, it makes sense since Quake II would fit the limit.

My railgun hit % was around 80% using gamepad on dreamcast, that' s without autoaim. I usually used keyboard and mouse though. You should see my Unreal Tournament 2004 instagib skills.

Better yet, upload to somewhere we don' t have to rake through the pixels to see. Considering it more, I' ve decided not to buy this, but save up & get a couple dreamcasts & Quake. It also means I get to replay Typing of the Damned. Edit: I meant Typing of the Dead

Typing of the Dead. Awesome game, especially when you have 2 keyboards. Oh yeah, I can type 190 WPM with 98% accuracy too.

That' s typing regular sentences. Anyone else have problems with not being notified of new private messages?
