VX, he' s not saying it wouldnt sell a single copy when he says " it wouldnt sell" . He means it woulndt sell enough to justify development cost, which is probably right. I know myself and my friends arent buying FF, even if it were on 360.

Yah, I know, but its a good cross section of gamers. A bunch of them are very casual gamers who play a couple times a week. Others are hardcore gamers, and a few are younger cousins I have, a whole different demographic.

What i meant and said was, the majority of PS2' s isnt sold to play FF games or even rpg' s they are sold to mostly a casual gamer audience, that enjoys games like madden, fifa, jak.

Ok, those games are a lot more accurate. I just couldn' t take it when you mentioned Disney, DDR, and Singstar. I would add tekken to that list, all the casual gamers I know have it. GTA as well would fit. Also, in Canada, most people own at least one hockey game.

If your reffering to the ps2 then i agree, except i want to add that you should have said the majority of American PS2 owners bought it for games like that... and madden... cant forget lots and lots of crap EA games. Especially place like where i live, people who never played video games as a kid, most likely bought ps2s. Everyone i know who own ps2s only have like 3 or 4 games that arent by EA or involve a sport or racing
