I used to scoff at Capcom too, but times have changed. They' ve done some of the most original and experimental games of any large developer/publisher in the last five years.

Capcom have whored some of their franchises (Megaman, Street Fighter etc), just like Nintendo continue to whore Mario (football, basketball, party etc) and Pokemon (how many different GBA games are there?)  That' s my only problem with them. I love Capcom though. They will have an even bigger presence this gen than last and with any luck it' ll pretty much (as far as 360 and PS3 go) all multi-platform.

I' ve never played a Devil May Cry game.
I' m thinking of trying one of them, should I start with the first one or are the sequels so much better that I should skip the first one?
I remember the TV commercial they had for DMC. A guy was like cutting up his living room with a sword and stuff, pretty cool.
Start with the first. It' ll keep you busy for a while, the biggest advantage of them all though is... it' s running the stiff price of $5.

I never really liked DMC, but never gave it more than 3 hours of gameplay, so i guess i wont be getting this one either

With risk of being marked an angry Sony fanboy, I hafta say I lost interest in this game, the moment somebody told me " Dante isn' t the main character!"

I played DMC3 a couple of hours. Fun, but I didn' t have time to learn the combat system much so it wasn' t very engaging. So this news is really me hoping more games follow the slipper slope from PS3 to 360

Capcom has a few key games that they produce that are great, but most of everything else shouldnt have been released, its getting better though!

Oh snap. Like we didn' t see this coming....
No, we didnt, becuase installed base means nothing. Right? Overall this is good news for gamers, but if Sony loses MGS(as rumored), all they' ll have left is FF and GOW. How I pine for GOW on my 360
