How useless is the Windows 3d View thing on Vista? - Mar 10, 2007 09:20


Out of 10 I give it a billion for Uselessness. Sure looks nifty but I cant even think why it made it into the final build.


I got Windows Vista Home Pre. And I do really like the gui and stuff like that. Some Games are having programs [Medievil 2 TW, C&C3 demo] maybe its directx 9 + 10 issues or whatever. Games like Oblivion and BF2 Run just as they did on Xp.

I like Vista, I cannot access my videos though, some secuirty hick. and oh God was that Secuity ' bring down your entire work and click annoying message everytime you clicked anything of any importance' Headwreaking. Thankfully I Disabled that.

But I stil like it. Early to get it yeah, But That makes me way cooler than you guys. 140euro too. That gives me a million Awesome points. Nitro I still believe your on 4.

Wow. It is obvious by that picture that Vista hates anti-aliasing of any kind. Jaggerific! Looks like the 3D technology used in Mega CD games. Glad Vista finally caught up.

I heard Vista was programmed in China. True?

The only reason I' m buying Vista at the end of the year is for DX10.

Yay Fixed Mediveil 2 Total War. I have given up on the C&c3 demo. I' ll just get the full game anyway.

Maybe that PC has DX10 compliant integrated video? LOL.

Vista is a scam, and the whole " OMG YOU NEED A DX10 CARD" is BS.

At least windows media center plays hd clips perfect. the non quicktime ones dont play [which most of my hd is in]

No, they are just stupid if they think they are fooling anyone into thinking you truly need a DX10 card to push the crap you see on that screen, everyone' s trying to sell DX10 cards like its a bare minimum requirement for running the OS.

LOL at typical quicktime " HD" trailers. 1240x702, lmfao thats worse than making a 1360x768 resolution tv.
