They should focus on making a D&D RPG, instead of more trash like this.

Someone should bring that genre of RPGs to Consoles.

Dungeons & Dragons already had an RPG on the Genesis. And it sucked.

Have they ever made a truly bad game? Mediocre at worst. Also, after Baldur' s Gate and Neverwinter Nights and their host of expansions wouldn' t you be a little tired of making D&D games. Any game set in the " Forgotten Realms" using wizards of the coast rules is basicly a D&D game. I salute their guts in trying an original IP, especially after the luke-warm success of Jade Empire.

Evil man calling this game trash puts your credibility out the window, you may not like Sci-Fi, you may not like the art style or the combat system but if your going to comment say something that resembles intelligent criticism. This game is patently not trash but clearly not for everyone. See Bulletwitch if you' d like a trash benchmark.

Anyway Bioware hasnt made a bad game yet, and i hardly doubt Mass Effect will be, though F3 is crossing his little fat fingers for it!

Baldurs Gate II was a blast and a half. Poor game got overshadowed by Diablo II. Really was a shame, as it was one of the best games I have ever played.

I should add Baldurs Gate kicked ass too, but BGII came along at the right time for me.

It will be good to see how Bioware translate their legendary D&D based RPG games to the console, maybe if Mass Effect works they might bring NWN to the 360, the only thing that lets down D&D RPG' s is the control system.

If they streamline the controls and create a proper camera system that console gamers would appreciate, it would work on consoles.

NWN was a good 1st step on approaching different camera systems, but they pretty much all sucked except for the good old top-down view.

Point well made with the camera system, the system in NWN2 takes a bit of getting used to, as it does in Oblivion.

Evil Man, KOTOR and Jade Empire had D&D based engine(for damage, saving throws and such), so I would assume under the beautiful hood of Mass Effect there will be a modified D&D(-esque) engine. So you didnt like Jade Empire? WHat about KOTOR?
