Who cares about Crackdown when you got Mercenaries 2 on the horizon.

I the thing I didnt like about GTA was the animations and pretty much very little you could do with it, whihc is why I liked Saints Row (rag dolls mmmm) but now with natural motion in the picture I say fuck Saints Row bring on the new form of ragdoll mayhem!

Hopwfully it will be more like San An than Vice City. Anyone know where this one is set yet.

Im hopeing for a Yakuza style game.

I lkike the idea of it starting in a prison you work your way out and then you start live in a city., but like you say all will be revealed in the trailer hopefully!!!

Vice city is the highest selling game in the US. Ever. To date the PS2 version has sold 6.47 million copies in America alone.

It' s one of the games that made PS2 such a phenomenal success (well, the GTA III series).

In fact, the top ten selling games in the US looks like this...

GTA: Vice City - 6.47 million (PS2)
Super Mario 64 - 5.94 million (N64)
GTA III - 5.51 million (PS2)
GTA: San Andreas - 5.14 million (PS2)
Pokemon Yellow - 5.10 million (GBA)
Pokemon Blue - 5.02 million (GBA)
GoldenEye 007 - 5.01 million (N64)
Pokemon Red - 4.83 million (GBA)
Mario Kart 64 - 4.80 million (N64)
Halo 2 - 4.29 million (Xbox)

(note that Halo sits just under Halo 2 in 11th place)

So GTA IV is pretty damn important, especially for Microsoft as Sony' s timed exclusivity for the previous games games them serious boosts in console sales.
