Burnout 3
-

I was watching the video download of Burnout 3 here at Kikizo and the game looks pretty cool. There is a Matrix " Bullet Time" slow-motion effect that occurs when damage happens to you or around you. Although cool, it seems that that would get kind of annoying after awhile. Does anyone know if there will be an option to turn it off? Also, will there be music in the final game?

I dunno man. I think there' ll be music if there was in the previous Burnout games. I' m hoping for the good ' ol custom soundtrack potion on the X-Box version, but we' ll see. I' m you' ll be able to turn the ' bullet time' effect off too if you really wanted, though it doesn' t look like it could get too annoying... unless you bump someone off at a corner and you get interrupted at a critical moment only to be handed back control of your car as you smash head first into the back of a lorry. AAARGH. I' ve not played a Burnout game before but I might pick this one up if it' s as good as it' s looking right now.

All the others had music, I think the trailers were just trying to show that it is full of lil details that the previous ones didn' t have. EA certaily gave the the budget to pump up this series. I liked the other 2 some of the best extreme racing Ive played. It was epecially fun with the Crash mode where basically you try and crash you car and get as much property damage done as possible on each run. The others also had the bullet time effect just not implented like in this game.
